The Singalila Ridge Trek

The Singalila Ridge Trek is one of India's finest scenic treks. The magnificent adventure starts about 2 hours away from the city. The trail, although not too far from the city, appears to be in the midst of nowhere as you hike from peak to peak. The picturesque Singalila Ridge links Nepal's magnificent Himalayas to India. The trek's highlight is going over this ridge to Sandakphu, West Bengal's highest point, where you can see some of the world's tallest peaks. Highlights Mount Everest (8848 meters), Kanchenjunga (8586 meters), Lhotse (8516 meters), and Makalu are all visible from Sandakphu (8481m). Darjeeling – is noted for its tea plantations and the small gauge railway. Sandakphu – the highest point on Singalila Ridge. Rimbick and Ramam – popular descents from Singalila.
