Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park Our driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park. The park is particularly known for Ancient Baobab trees and for having the largest number of elephants. You will do a game drive through the park, and besides Elephants, Tarangire is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wart-hogs, buffalos, and many other predators plus a great treat for bird enthusiasts with more than 550 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch then continue with the game drive and later on depart to the lodge in Karatu Town for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater Floor After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime safari. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is that the thick volcanic crater is the most significant unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of the crater’s leading features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can be seen here. You will enjoy lunch near the lake and then embark on an afternoon game drive inside the crater before ascending back to the crater rim and returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3 Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park and Mto wa Mbu Town After breakfast, we head into the Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The Park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of Elephants; Lake Manyara is unique for the Tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of Flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. In the afternoon, drive to Mto Wa Mbu. At Mto Wa Mbu town you will visit the local Market and villages around, experience the life of the locals, learn about their culture, visit the rice and banana plantations and the history of the area. You will also experience local lunch cuisine where you will have a chance to see and taste local food (more than 15 food types) and local beer (brewer). Then later on after some rest, you will go for a village walk or bike tour and during the evening depart to Arusha/ End of the Safari
