Northern Light Camp in Poikkijärvi

Northern Light Camp is located by the Torneriver River, within walking distance of the Icehotel when the river is frozen. Here you can choose to stay in our Huts or Cottage and see the northern lights dancing in the sky on one of the best locations in the area while you relax by the crackling fire from the fireplace. On the camp, you have access to a private wood-fired sauna with self-service. That is an experience in itself to use a traditional sauna and try snow bathing in the Arctic. The camo is also close to all the adventures you want to make on your bucket list such as: Snowmobile rides start from the camp Dogsledding rides include pick-up from the camp Minibus rides start from the camp Jukkasjärvi with all its attractions, restaurants, ice hotel, church, reindeer, grocery store, and sámi museum is only a short walk (1,5 km) over the frozen snowmobile track. The camp is located 20 minutes outside central Kiruna and the way to get here is by taxi service, local bus (501), or rental car.
