Day 2 Warm up along the shoreline to the top of Vrmac range Enjoy the views of the open sea and the UNESCO World Heritage Bay of Kotor. Return to Kotor. Distance: 37 km, climb 500 m or 700m (depending on if you go to the top);
Day 3 Transfer along the fantastic panorama serpentine road to Lovcen National park At 900 m above the Bay of Kotor, you start biking through old military roads. Enjoy the refreshing mountain air before you head down to Cetinje, the old royal capital of Montenegro. (Distance: 30 km, climb 600 m);
Day 4 Explore the villages of National park Lake Skadar, from Cetinje to Virparzar Your start directly from Cetinje and roll 18 km downhill on small village roads to the village of Rijeka Crnojevica. The final section of today leads you above Lake Skadar and through the villages to Virpazar. There we recommend hiring a small boat for a relaxed evening boat ride on the biggest lake of the Balkans. (Distance: 45 km, 700 m);
Day 5 Follow an abandoned railway line to Bar The last kilometers to the ruins of Old Bar lead through ancient olive groves. Right in front of your hotel starts the old railway track – nowadays a small road. A pleasant climb takes you up to a pass on 800 m before you head down to “Stari Bar”. The big parking lot in front of “Stari Bar” is also the meeting place for your transfer to Budva. (Distance: 38 km, 800m);
Day 6 Transfer to the mountain range above Budva Follow an old military trail to the hotel island of Sveti Stefan. Continue your ride back to Budva. (Distance: 25 km, 500m); overnight in Budva
Day 7 Beach-brake day Reward yourself with a relaxed day at the beach in Budva (a nice, lively old town with beaches nearby) or bike across villages to Kotor. (27 km)
