After an early breakfast, we take an approximate 8-hour’s drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We spend the evening strolling near the lake and preparing for the trek tomorrow. Overnight at a hotel.
After breakfast, we'll take a bus or car depending on the size of the group; we reach Khairenitaar (28 km) and then start trekking towards Bankewa where we will spend the first night in a lovely home with the hosts. After reaching Udendhunga, we will shortly reach to Bankewa village. Plenty of time will be available to explore the daily lifestyle of villagers. A welcome program will be arranged by the village community. Overnight homestay at Bankewa.
As soon as we finish our breakfast, we head towards the Pyuridobhan. Walking along the forest we can see a spectacular view of the mountain ranges and the landscapes from most of the part of the trek route. Overnight at homestay at Pyuridobhan.
We start the day with a local breakfast and we then continue climbing up the steep mountains crossing the small village. While trekking, we explore many cultural aspects of major Ethnic groups of Nepal. First, we'll come across the Gurung village of Lamagaon and after lunch, we'll head down towards the village of Gharedi, which is comparatively one of the largest villages of the whole trekking region. Overnight at a homestay in Gharedi.
After breakfast, we'll continue our journey by walking down to the Millennium cave. It's a cave with waterfalls. After spending some time in the cave, we'll continue walking up towards Kalkhu village and then finally reach Kolma village where we will spend a night. It can be a hard day walking up but as soon as we reach up to the view point, all our pain will disappear with the mesmerizing beauty of the village and the view of the Himalayas. Overnight stay at a homestay.
After breakfast, we'll go to the viewpoint for a sunrise view and after breakfast, we'll slowly walk down towards the Pokharichhap village. We'll keep walking until we reach a beautiful village called SaldandaHatiaya where we will stop for a tea break. We'll have our quick lunch in Kharikot village and then we'll walk towards a beautiful village called Pyarsing where we will spend the night. The home-stay accommodation is going to be very basic. But the good news is that we'll be able to enjoy good hearty Dal Bhat as our main meal and after that, we'll see some glimpses of Newari cultural dance in the evening. This will definitely be a thrilling night. Overnight at homestay in Pyarsing.
After breakfast, we will head towards the beautiful village of Rangrung while passing many small villages on the way. After a couple of hours of walk from Pyarsing, we reach back to the village called Rangrung and we'll observe the village of ThuloHattiya. The next day, we'll walk down towards the Kyangdi River and after crossing the river we'll reach towards Lalim village and enter one of the 5 Tibetan camps in Nepal. Tibetans got settled as refugees here right after the Chinese Invasion in Tibet. We'll closely observe their new lifestyle and their community. Finally, after crossing the Seti gorge, we'll observe the popular rock garden and then from Dulegaunda highway, we'll take a bus/jeep depending on the group size and head towards Pokhara.
