Majestic Ladakh
A 10 days journey from Leh (3500 m) to various valleys of Leh allows you to explore, learn, capture and experience one of the world's highest and most breathtakingly frozen terrains. On this adventure, you will be exploring different valleys of Ladakh which offer both natural and man-made ice-climbing walls.
Scaling frozen mountainside water features, such as waterfalls, is known as ice climbing. On steep, jagged, and brittle ice formations, climbers use ice axes and crampons, footwear with metal spikes attached to the soles, to gently cut the ice and hoist themselves up.
This 10-day course cum tour will give you the confidence to move on steep ice, whether you're an aspiring ice climber or an alpine climber looking to polish your techniques for challenging climbs. The initial days of your tour will be an acclimatization hike to Gangles Ice wall, followed by a course on basic ice climbing techniques. After that, you will be explored various natural ice climbing within the vicinity of Leh.
Around Leh Town
The last days of the journey will be taken to Guphugs to watch a thrilling Ice hockey match or to learn the basics of Ice skating. You can spend your time at leisure or move around in Leh town before saying a final goodbye.
