Glacier hiking is a thrilling, challenging, and exciting activity!
For a glacier hike, Hardanger and the Folgefonna glacier are the perfect place to experience this powerful natural phenomenon.
Glacier hiking on Juklavass glacier is arranged daily from June to October and starts from Fonna Glacier Ski Resort.
Juklavass Glacier consists of both calm, flat ice and more challenging crevasse areas. The tour is adapted to the participants' wishes and conditions. We take a lunch break with world world-class panorama view of the North Sea and the Rosendal Alps.
The glacier guide will convey details about the culture, physical geography, climate, etc. In the afternoon light, we return to Fonna Glacier Centre with the fjord and mountains below us.
