Lima Culinary Experience – Afternoon City Tour

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy Lima on a walking food tour, you will sample more than 15 Peruvian foods and drinks in one of Lima’s nicest neighborhoods – artsy and bohemian Barranco. You will even have the opportunity to interact with our local hosts to learn how to prepare the famous ceviche and pisco sour. You will learn about all the historical and cultural details behind each dish that you will have the chance to taste during this 4-hour Lima walking food tour. 

In the afternoon you will enjoy our City Tour, by going to the famous Love Park located in Miraflores, where you will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, your guide will lead you on a panoramic visit to the Huaca Pucllana and then visit the city center of Lima. You will visit the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, and the Municipality, and finally, you will visit the Convent of San Francisco where we will discover the mysterious underground passages of the Catacombs of Lima. After an amazing long day, we’ll take you back to the hotel for a well-earned rest.

Arrival to Cusco - Cusco City Tour

Early in the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and taken to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at Cusco, you will be driven to your hotel. You will receive a welcome coca tea to help you acclimate. In the afternoon, a city tour is on your agenda. You will visit the Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the nearby ruins: Qenqo (Ceremonial and Ritual center, place where sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara (this complex was probably used by Emperor Pachacutec as a Tambo), Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Sacsayhuaman Fortress (the place where the main Inca Festivals, Inti Raymi and Warachicuy take place). After your city tour, you return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day Trip to Rainbow Mountain – Vinicunca

Today on the agenda is Rainbow Mountain called in Spanish "Montaña de Colores". We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early at 05:30 am to begin our adventure. We head southeast from Cusco passing through Cusipata (at 3,339 masl) before arriving at the hamlet of Llactoc where we can see herds of alpaca and llama and vegetation typical of this area. Here we begin our walk of approximately 2 ½ hours, walking through beautiful landscapes with snow-capped mountains in the distance, before finally reaching rainbow mountain (Vinicunca). We will spend one hour at the top, time to descend approximately 1 ½ hours to return to the same hamlet to take our transport back to Cusipata to enjoy our typical lunch. After lunch, we will return to Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Cusco - The Sacred Valley – Pisaq Market & The fortress of Ollantaytambo

Early in the morning, we will begin our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the popular Pisaq Market, renowned for its quality handicrafts. Lunch in Urubamba, we will enjoy a walk through the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Then we will return to your hotel in Sacred Valley.

Machu Picchu – Huayna Picchu – Cusco

Our transportation will pick you up to take you to the station of Ollantaytambo, where your train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes will begin. Then we will board the bus to Machu Picchu. Time to visit Huayna Picchu (guided not included) After we will begin our visit to one of the 7 Wonders of the World, considered patrimony of humanity. A beautiful sanctuary that was a rest residence of the Inca Pachacutec. We will enjoy our lunch. At the scheduled hour, we’ll return to Cusco by train.

Flight Cusco to Guayaquil – Transfer to your hotel

Take a last stroll through Cusco before you take the plane back to Lima, where you’ll connect and continue flying to Guayaquil -Ecuador. Upon arrival at Guayaquil airport, your private driver will be waiting for you to greet you, help you with your luggage, and drive you to your beautiful hotel to check in and rest.

Exploring an Uninhabited Island

After a very early breakfast, today you will enjoy an amazing day trip to an uninhabited island. Depending on the weather, scheduling, and permissions granted by the National Park, you'll visit one of the following islands: Santa Fé, South Plazas, Bartolomé, or North Seymour where you will follow trails to discover their richness, while in the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore the waters around Santa Fé and South Plazas are home to endemic land iguanas, while Bartolomé is known for its beautiful lava flows. On North Seymour, look for frigate birds and blue-footed boobies. Each island is unique, offering spectacular scenery and opportunities to see rare wildlife. Lunch is included onboard, as well as walking and a snorkeling activity to maximize your experience. In the evening, return to Puerto Ayora to enjoy some free time.

Speedboat to Isabela Island & Wildlife on Las Tintoreras Islet

Start your morning with a public speedboat trip to Isabela Island, a 2-hour trip. After arriving, make your way to the Flamingo Lagoon or the Giant Tortoise Breeding Station to learn about the local wildlife.  After lunch, join a group tour for a visit to the Tintoreras Islet for a short hike and some snorkeling. See Humboldt penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and sharks, which rest in the natural channels formed by lava flows. Afterward, snorkel in the turquoise water and spot different fish, sea turtles, rays, and penguins. The evening is free, with an overnight stay on Isabela Island. Overnight: Puerto Villamil

Flight to San Cristóbal Island - Interpretation Center - Tijeretas Hill

In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to San Cristobal Island (small plane 9 pax max.). After arriving and checking in to your hotel, you will first visit the Interpretation Center with your guide where you will learn everything about the history and future of Galapagos. Afterwards, you will take a short walk to Tijeretas Hill where frigate birds are nesting, and from where you have a spectacular view over the island. To top off this day, you will have the chance to visit La Lobería, a beach that is home to a colony of sea lions. In the afternoon you return to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno where you will spend another night.

The Treasure of Galapagos: Snorkeling at Kicker Rock – Farewell Dinner

An exciting day awaits you, after an early breakfast, on the agenda is a day trip to Kicker Rock, which is one of the most emblematic places in the Galapagos. A comfortable speed boat navigates along the coast of San Cristobal until we arrive at Kicker Rock, it is composed of compacted volcanic ash, not rock, towers up almost 500ft / 150m from the ocean floor, splitting into two above surface structures, but they’re connected below the surface, with a channel running between them. It is home to many birds, you will be able to spot Nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and tropicbirds, and the underwater world will make this day extra memorable as it is a real "hot spot" for underwater wildlife! Since Kicker Rock is a snorkeling site, get ready for a wet landing! You’ll be getting directly into the water to experience everything that Kicker Rock has to offer. After lunch on the boat, head to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you can relax and defrost in the sunshine before heading back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in the afternoon. Delicious Dinner by the Sea for you to enjoy this last evening on the Islands 😊
