Day 1 Kathmandu (1300m) Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and transfer to Napli Ghar, a comfort boutique hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives from Aarya Village Travel.
Day 2 Kathmandu to Namo Buddha Hiking After breakfast, we drive to Dhulikhel for an hour and explore the Buddhist site for around 3 hrs. The main attractions of this hike are the fantastic panoramic mountain views and the many Buddhist stupas on the hilltops. Namo Budhha is also famous for growing rice, mustard and millet so you can see beautiful hillside terraced farms throughout the walk. You
Day 3 Namobuddha - Balthali Village (4 hour walk) Today after breakfast we walk for 4 hours and reach the enchanting Balthali village offering excellent mountain views at an altitude of 1,730m. After checking into the hotel you can visit a typical Tamang village, Dada Gaun, where a Buddhist Community lives. It is very traditional and secluded from the modern world. Here people and animals live together side by side. Overnight at Balthali Village Resort, an eco-friendly resort.
Day 4 Home hosted lunch at Panauti and drive back to Kathmandu Today, we take leisurely walk to the thriving Newari village of Panauti. Pride of this place goes to the massive, three-tiered Indreshwor Mahadev. Some authorities believe this to be the original structure that was raised here in 1294 AD, which would make it the oldest surviving Nepal. Having taken about 3 hours on foot journey, we reach Panauti. In Panauti you will be welcomed by local people and there will be a home-hosted lunch with a family. You can interact with them and learn cooking with a family member. Overnight at Nepali Ghar, a comfortable boutique hotel.
Day 5 Kathmandu Sightseeing and Departure After breakfast, we start a full day sightseeing at UNESCO Heritage Sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath Stupa- the largest stupa in Nepal, a very important religious site for the followers of Buddhism, Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of the Hindu faith. Also visit Patan Durbar Square, a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th century. Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
