DETAILS

One of the most popular trekking experiences worldwide is trekking to the Base Camp of Everest. This trek takes you to the foot of Mount Everest (8848m), the highest peak of the world located in Sagarmatha National Park, and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This is suitable for people who are experienced trekkers. However, if you are new to trekking, you may choose the Everest Base Camp Trek of 20 days, which is more acclimatized and suited for the beginners. This adventurous journey will take you to see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan Mountain range such as Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and the rich Himalayan fauna such as the Himalayan Thar, Snow Leopard and many more. The trail towards Everest Base Camp is the very same ancient route used by the locals for many years. You will walk by many suspension bridges above rivers like Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi, small villages, high mountains, and monasteries. The trail will also take you through the green fields and forest of rhododendron, oak, and pine, as well as rocky and snowy steps. The major attraction on the Everest Base Camp trek is the climb to Kala Patthar (5545m) which is the highest altitude you will reach in this Everest Base Camp trek. Other highlights include the villages of Namche and Khumjung, the Tyangboche monastery, Sherpa culture and tradition, and of course friendly locals, diverse terrain, and alpine valleys.
