Amigo Treks & Expedition
The Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal is undoubtedly one of the most unbeatable adventures in the world. Starting with an electrifying flight to Lukla (an adventure in itself), this adventure takes you to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world, in just 8 days. After landing in Lukla, the entire journey is on foot. No roads, no sound of honking, no skyscrapers, and no elevators or lifts of any kind. Moreover, if you choose not to accommodate yourself in the luxury lodges and use WiFi and mobile data service, this trek in the Everest region provides the perfect opportunity to completely disconnect yourself from the worldly pleasure that you've gotten accustomed to.
Additionally, apart from the centerpiece of the region, the mighty Everest, the trek allows you to immerse yourself into the beautiful world created by some of the most stunning 6000 to over 8000-meter peaks (including Lhotse and Cho Oyu), in the region. Hard to believe until you've seen them, but some of these peaks are even more beautiful than Everest. There's more…, the diverse landscape provides a thriving habitat for a wide variety of wildlife and indigenous vegetation, which is also partially protected by the Sagarmatha National Park. Moreover, the culture, tradition, religious sites, and lifestyle of the Sherpa people, who are considered to be the natives of the region and deserve special mention, make the trek more interesting. While you are on the way to discovering height, you discover exotic lifestyles, beliefs, cultures, traditions, and most importantly your strength and your capacity to adapt to and enjoy the change.
Even if you are not an avid trekker, you can successfully do this trek if you are physically fit and have the stamina to walk for an average of 6-9 hours a day. If you are looking for the best time to do this trek then plan sometime around March-May end and October to early December.
Our 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek package is one of our most preferred and popular trekking packages. It's an all-inclusive package. However, if you are looking for a shorter Everest Base Camp Trek, you also have the option to take a helicopter back to Lukla or Kathmandu after reaching the base camp.

Suggested Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft)
Hello and welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a company representative will meet you outside the luggage claim area and transport you in a private vehicle to the hotel reserved for you in Kathmandu. The hotel booked for you under this package will be a 3-Star Standard in Thamel. The same person will assist you with hotel check-in procedures, and you can spend the rest of the day relaxing or strolling around Thamel's tourist district. This area also has a number of restaurants that serve both traditional Nepali and Western cuisine, where you can get your next meal.
If your flight arrives before noon, we will hold a meeting at our office to formally introduce you to your guide, check your equipment, brief you on the trek, and settle the final payment. If your flight arrives in the afternoon, late in the evening, or even at night, the meeting will be held the following day. In Kathmandu, spend the night in a hotel.
