There are 3 resident species of Whales and Dolphins (including Sperm Whales), and the privileged geographical position intercepts migration routes, allowing to observe throughout the year up to 24 - a third of all known species of Whales and Dolphins, including the migratory giant's Fin Whales, Sei Whales, Humpback Whales, the largest living animals the Blue Whales, and also Beaked Whales, Orcas, 5 different species of Dolphins, many species of exotic birds, and even Turtles, amongst other regular surprises. This package includes morning marine tours to observe wildlife, local lunch, and biologist or naturalist-guided tours to the Volcanoes of Sete Cidades of the famous Green and Blue lagoon, to Volcano of Lagoa do Fogo, and the Volcano of Furnas with exotic botanic gardens, relaxing thermal bathing, local lunch, airport transfer, and hotel pickup. Day 0 - Arrival with Pickup in Ponta Delgada Airport (PDL) and van tour passing by the city’s historical center towards your accommodation.
