DETAILS
This action-packed multi-sport adventure curated by Adventure Journeys takes place in the Ecuadorian mainland, where you can see some of the world’s richest biodiversity as it rests along the Equator. Bike down the slopes of Tungurahua, an active volcano, and along the Andes as well as into to the Amazon. Your feet will take you on strolls in front of the highest active volcano in the world, Cotopaxi and up cascading waterfalls in the Amazon rainforest. Hop onto the raft with us and fight large waves on the Jatunyacu River, then trek to the rim of Cuicocha Crater Lake and soak in Papallactas’ volcanic waters.

Immerse yourself in the culture of two local indigenous communities and learn about their customs, food and lifestyle in the Andes and Amazon regions. Highlights of this experience include preparing chocolate the ancestral way with a native Kichwa family in the Amazon Rainforest and organic cooking lessons with traditional fresh ingredients, side by side with local people in the heart of the Andes.
