Nestled between sand dunes and the Atlantic Ocean, Taiba is a kitesurfer's paradise -it's one of the windiest places in the world from July through December each year. During this 9 day retreat, you'll get the opportunity to discover just how magical Taiba really is, what with its pristine beaches, dunes, lagoons and natural pools. On your trip, you'll receive 12 hours of instruction with a two-to-one student to instructor ratio. The instructor is the best in the biz: professional riders and qualified instructors will help you take your kitesurfing to the next level. When you're not on the water, you'll get to discover all the other wonders and activities that Taiba has to offer. Between the ocean views and all sorts of other fun diversions, you'll be ready to stay forever! Kite Spot: The lagoon in Taiba where you'll be kitesurfing has average winds of 20 to 25 knots when from July through December, and has both sheltered flat areas and rougher wavy areas to take your wave riding up a level. There are three sections in the lagoon: one for beginners, one for intermediates, and one for experts so you can feel comfortable no matter what level you're riding at.

Kite Club / Excursions / Activities: Freestyle and wave coaching sessions are supervised by Antoine Clerc. Our professional coach will allow you to improve in freestyle kitesurfing in a huge lagoon. Over the course of the week, Antoine will share his knowledge with you both on and off the water, ensuring you have the most time in the water in the best conditions. Coaching will include group and individual sessions using video analysis. Each day there will be a morning briefing and a warm-up session. During the kite camp, our coaches will organize video debriefing sessions to accelerate your progress and help you reach your goals faster. In case of light wind, we let you try out a wide range of activities: surfing, horse riding on the beach, buggy excursions at sunset.

Accommodation: Nestled amidst a beautiful 6,000 m2 tropical garden, the beautiful villa with swimming pool is located at the entrance of Taiba village and offers direct access to the beach. You can take off your kite from the garden and navigate the waves in front of the house or join the lagoon downwind. The villa of 300m2 benefits from all the modern comfort with hot water and wifi access. The 6 tastefully decorated suites are bright, spacious and equipped with private bathrooms. Each room has an unobstructed view of the garden or pool. In between sessions, you can relax in the hammocks or on the loungers by the pool and enjoy a massage at home. In the evening we have excellent homemade caipirinhas and festive evenings. For your meals, we offer varied and balanced menus based on fish, seafood and local specialties at the villa and in the best local restaurants.
