We will pick you up from your accommodation at 5:00 AM in our private vehicle to begin the adventure to the charming village of Pukarumi, located in the heart of the majestic Ausangate mountains. During the three-hour drive, you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views. Upon arrival in Pukarumi, you'll meet our trekking team, including cooks and muleteers. Our high-altitude chef will prepare a delicious breakfast before we start the hike.
We will begin with a gradual ascent through landscapes where you'll witness panoramic views of imposing snow-capped peaks and deep valleys. As we progress along the trail, we will head towards the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate, a challenging yet highly rewarding route. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to interact with local communities that keep their ancestral traditions alive and will welcome you warmly. We will stop for lunch at a midpoint.
In the afternoon, we will continue our hike to the Azulqocha (Blue Lagoon) campsite. Upon arrival, we can explore the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate. Later, we will enjoy afternoon tea before dinner. As night falls, we will camp under the protection of the sacred Ausangate mountains, surrounded by nature and tranquility.
