Our reputation as the leader in first-class dedicated dive vacations in the Philippines is further enhanced by our dive yacht, Atlantis Azores. The Azores is positioned strategically to service remote diving areas with spectacular diving throughout the Philippines' 7,107 islands.

The Visayas Islands are one of the three island groups in the Philippines. Enjoy six fabulous days diving from the Atlantis Azores around one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse regions in Asia. Easy cruises each evening will take you from one great dive site to another. With easy transfers, consider a combo trip with Atlantis Dumaguete for a multi-week first class dive vacation at a very reasonable investment.

Our mid-week land excursion is not to be missed. After two morning dives, you still have time take in some of the best sites of Bohol. The Chocolate Hills are probably Bohol'€™s most famous tourist attraction - they look like giant molehills; covered with grass, which, at the end of the dry season, turns chocolate brown. We also take in the Tarsiers - the worlds smallest primate and a unique butterfly farm. You can finish by exploring Alona Beach, famous for its coral white sand that stretches one and a half kilometers and ends in rocky cliffs at both sides.

Seven-night charters run between June - December
    Air temperature 28 C/82 F+
    Sea temperature 27 C/81 F+
    Average visibility 18 m/60 ft+

Sometime during your week enjoy an exciting encounter with whale sharks at Oslob off the southern tip of Cebu. Spend an hour or so snorkeling and getting up close and personal with these €œgentle giants.

    Itineraries

Rated as one of the Philippines top dive sites for many years, this small island is just a couple of miles due west of Moalboal. The exhilarating scene is set by a small plateau that surrounds the island before it drops vertically into the abyss.

Pescador Island walls are literally teeming with life; Among the highlights of our dive today are frogfish, stonefish, barracuda, and turtles are common but the real draw is the sardine run and a chance of a thresher!

We spend the third day snorkeling with Whale Sharks at Oslob. The rest of the day will be spent scubadiving around tranquil Sumilon Island, surrounded by crystal clear waters and pristine white sandy beaches. Look out for exquisite coral gardens and drop-offs. 'Might sees' in this area include manta rays and sting rays, barracudas, sea turtles and snakes and very occasionally whale sharks and hammerheads.

Balicasag is a flat island four kilometers southwest of the Duljo Point; the sandy coralline beach is a sight to behold. Look out for jacks, mackerel and barracudas often seen in abundance as well as large groupers, Napoleon wrasses and snappers hiding in the overhangs of the dramatic multi-hundred-foot vertical walls. Look out for turtles, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, eagle & manta rays, schooling barracuda and trevally, frogfish, ghost pipefish, pygmy and thorny seahorses, plus many different species of nudibranch, among dramatic walls and reefs.

Panglao Island - Look for turtles, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, eagle and manta rays, schooling barracuda and trevally, frogfish, ghost pipefish, pygmy and thorny seahorses, plus many different species of nudibranch, among dramatic walls and reefs. Land trip options: Chocolate Hills or Loboc River Tour. A visit to the Tarsiers – the world smallest primate on both trip options.

Apo Island is one of the world's best known community-organized marine sanctuaries. The island is home to over 650 documented species of fish and is estimated to have over 400 species of corals. Siquijor is called Isla del Fuego or the Island of Fire and you could look for superb hard and soft corals, fusiliers, many nudibranchs, clown fish, parrot fish, schools of juvenile barracuda and razorfish. Super pristine walls abound!

Disembark Azores at Dumaguete Port at 08:00am
