DETAILS

Annapurna Base Camp helicopter ride is the fastest way to see Mt. Annapurna. The 10th highest mountain in the world (8,091m/26,545ft) and its range from base camp (4,130m/13,549ft) along with some of the most beautiful mountains like Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Annapurna II, and Mt. Dhaulagiri will make this day trip a ride to remember. To explore the Himalayan beauty, our helicopter ride is the best option for those who are restricted by time. It gives you the opportunity to see dramatic landscapes, lush valleys and outstanding mountain ranges of the entire Annapurna Massif. In fact, the Annapurna base camp helicopter ride is an excellent way to get a closer view of the mountain and a wonderful experience beyond the Annapurna base camp.

The ride is available all year round although Autumn and Spring are the best seasons to explore the region. Winter (December to February) is perfect but the landing place will be full of snow so most probably we'll make a circle over base camp for a while and turn back without landing. The rainy season (June to August) is not recommended for the helicopter ride because the cloudy and foggy weather interrupts visibility. Our meeting point is Pokhara and once we are off the ground, we fly parallel to the northern Himalayan range heading east to Annapurna base camp and enjoy views of different beautiful villages, landscapes and the city. Once we land on Base Camp, you will be given a 15 - 30 mins of time for a tea/breakfast or break time. Staying longer is not recommended as there could be a serious high altitude sickness threat. In total, the whole ride lasts 1,5 hours. The flight cost depends on the private or sharing flight policy and your starting point. If you are a single traveler you can join the fixed departure to Annapurna Base camp from Pokhara. Kindly check with us availability before booking.
