The Markha Valley trek is one of the best-known treks in Ladakh. After acclimatizing to Leh's excessive altitude, you may go to the coronary heart of the center of Ladakh Valley. It includes traversing the high by-skip of Kongmaru La (5,274 meters) and touring alongside the banks of the Markha River. As we climb up the valley, Kang Yatse Mountain (6400m) dominates the skyline, and the vistas closer to the Zanskar are breathtaking. Highlights: Ancient Buddhist monasteries and far-flung villages.
