Suggested Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha – Briefing and drive to Arusha National park (walking safari). – (53km and 1 hr. drive)
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. You will be picked up and driven to Arusha. Your guide will give you an introduction to the whole safari. Then, we start our safari to Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora that will not fail to impress. Then, we will visit the Ngurdoto Crater to see Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and baboons as well as many different bird species. At the Momella gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on a walking safari, which will give you a chance to experience the wildlife and waterfalls found within the park. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give such an opportunity and this is something that should be missed. Lunch will be taken at the picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour on a safari vehicle through Arusha National Park. We then drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
