Your first stop is the Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest and most important temples in the valley. Rich in history, art, and culture, this sacred site offers a fascinating glimpse into Nepal’s spiritual heritage.
From here, your trek along the Kathmandu Valley Rim begins. The trail meanders through peaceful countryside, dotted with terraced farmlands, charming villages, and lush green hills. Along the way, you’ll discover both famous landmarks and hidden gems, all while enjoying captivating views of the Himalayas.
By afternoon, you’ll arrive at Nagarkot, a serene hilltop getaway perched at 2,175 meters. From its vantage point, you can take in sweeping views of the Himalayan range to the north, as well as the rustic charm of terraced fields and traditional farmhouses scattered below.
