Departure from Marrakech in the morning towards the great South. We will pass through Tichka's pass (2260m) and discover typical Berber villages. After lunch we will visit the ancient Kasbah de Ait Ben Habdou (protected by UNESCO) and then continue towards Ouarzazate where we will sleep in a hotel.
Breakfast, then departure towards Zagora (164km). We will travel through the little Atlas mountains across the Tizi n' Tanifeft pass until we arrive at the village of Agdz. From there we will be able to see palm groves, gardens and casbahs along the Draa valley. After lunch, SUVs will take us to the foot of the El Gatara pass (50km) where caravans will be awaiting. The night can be passed either under canvas or the open sky.
Breakfast at sunrise. We will travel across the Alajouj pass and walk until we reach the Achgig oasis. There under the shade of the palms, we will have lunch. The hike will start at 3 p.m. and last approximately 2 hours across the small mountains of Djebel Bani. We will make camp at Bouhjib.
Departure after breakfast for the dunes where lunch will be taken in the shade of the tamarisks. We will leave at 3 pm and walk 2 hours through small dunes until we arrive to the great dunes of Abidlia. Set up of the tents.
Breakfast then we will continue to walk across the dunes. Enjoyable lunch in the shade. We will start walking again at 3 pm in order to arrive two hours later at the splendid dunes of Erg Elmhazil. Setting up of the tents.
Breakfast then we will set off towards Oued Laatach. Lunch taken in the shades of the dunes and tamarisks. We will set off on foot at 3 pm, still in the Oued, until we reach the Bougaren Dunes. Setting up of camp for the last night in the tents.
Breakfast then transfer in SUVs towards the last village of the valley of Draa called Mhamid. We will then continue on the paved road which goes along the valley until we reach Zagora. There we will take our last meal together. At the end of the day you will be transferred to Ouarzazate and that will be the end of the circuit. You will be able to visit the surroundings of Ouarzazate before the transfer to Marrakech.
